Mercedes Corbell, Architect and Principal

Mercedes Corbell studied Architecture and Visual Design at the University of California at Berkeley and received a Bachelors of Art in Architecture. An active member of the Bay Area building and design community, she co-founded the Green Building Professionals Guild with David Johnston in 2003 which became the first in a series of continuing education guilds for Build it Green. Mercedes is a licensed architect, Certfied Green Building Professional, and LEED AP.

Inga Sheffield, Assistant Architect

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Inga Sheffield graduated from UC Berkeley with a
BA in Architecture in 2002. She continues to live and work in the Bay Area, residing
in Oakland. With a strong interest in sustainable design, Inga has spent the last few
years working on retail and residential architectural projects in the Bay Area as well
as around the country. She enjoys playing with other people’s dogs and getting out
of town.
